Is there a prize for winning the Oxford Half Marathon?

There is prize money on offer for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed male and female runners along with a complimentary entry into the following year's race.  Male and female age category winners will also receive a complimentary place into the following year's race.  

To qualify for a complimentary place in the elite race, participants must have a qualifying time within the last 3 years of 70 minutes or quicker for men, and 80 minutes or quicker for women.

Oxford Half Marathon Wheelchair Participants

There is prize money on offer for the 1st placed male and female wheelchair finishers along with a complimentary entry into the following year's race.

To qualify for a complimentary place in the elite wheelchair race, participants must take part in a racing wheelchair and have a previous qualifying time within the last 3 years of 1 hour 20 minutes.

All other wheelchair participants taking part in day chairs will start together at the back of the half marathon field. For more information on Wheelchair Entrants, see Registration FAQs above.
